A permanent injunction was filed last week against a Monterey medical marijuana dispensary. The city is asking that employees of My Caregiver Cooperative Inc. be prohibited from using OR going on the property since they are violating the city’s zoning ordinance and medical marijuana moratorium. The injunction claims that the Lighthouse Avenue Cooperative, which stopped operating after a preliminary injunction was issued on March 12th, did not indicate that they would be operating as a medical marijuana dispensary when they applied for a business license. A court date concerning the permanent injunction was filed for October 8th.
