Santa Cruz County Supervisors have unanimously agreed to join a growing group of Central Coast governments, that plan to provide power to residents in the tri-county area. The new Community Choice Energy group, known as Monterey Bay Community Power plans to purchase (and deliver) clean, renewable energy (over existing transmission lines) at competitive prices….by the spring of next year.
