A Monterey man is being charged in connection with a hit and run. Shortly before 5 p-m on August 29th police attempted to stop a vehicle after witnessing a hit and run collision with another vehicle. After a brief pursuit the driver attempted to flee on foot. 31 year old Justin Casey was apprehended nearby and booked into Monterey County Jail on DUI, Reckless driving, and causing great bobily harm.
