Santa Cruz police apprehended a man suspected of two Modesto murders. 21 year old Robert Davis was taken into custody Friday night at a Santa Cruz motel when officers acting on information from Modesto police executed an arrest warrant. Davis is believed to be the shooter responsible for killing a 5 year old boy and wounding a 6 year old last October, as well as the shooting death of a 21 year old man in November. Modesto police simultaneously arrested 2 men charged as accomplices. Investigators say social media tips were instrumental in solving the case.
