The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office has updated the county jail’s covid19 infection numbers. The office is reporting that 195 inmates have tested positive for COVID-19 at the Jail. There are 710 inmates being housed at the jail. Over 200 inmates have been released due to concerns of spreading of covid19.
