The Monterey County Sheriff’s office is investigating the death of an inmate at the county jail. Authorities say that the female inmate, 29 year old Joanna Iniguez was found deceased in an infirmary cell on Friday. Suicide and foul play have been ruled out. The cause of death will be determined following an aoutopsy.
