The Monterey County Board of Supervisors will consider downsizing a new juvenile hall project. At (tonight’s) Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors meeting, the supervisors will consider downsizing the project from the current plan of 120 beds to 80 beds do to budget concerns. The project is expected to cost an estimated 61.2 million dollars and be finished in June 2021.
