A bank robbery was thwarted and six Monterey County men were arrested on Friday. The incident started at 1 a-m, when Modesto police began surveillance of a stolen car. Police then followed four suspect vehicles to a bank where the six suspects were arrested preparing to rob the bank. All six were booked into the Stanislaus County Jail.
