A Salinas woman has been arrested in connection with drugs smuggling into the Monterey County Jail. A warrant was obtained for the home of 31 year old Kayla Potter after a deputy found drugs in a letter to an inmate. Following the search, Potter was arrested for bringing a controlled substance into jail, possession and purchase for sale of a controlled substance, and selling a controlled substance in prison.29 year-old Vanessa Lopez and 26 year-old Jake Osborne were also arrested on drug related charges at the home.
