The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that an internal investigation involving on duty drinking is underway. Sheriff Steve Bernal says several non uniformed officers are the subject of the investigation which should be conclude soon. Once the investigation is final details will be released to the public and disciplinary action will be taken
