A Monterey County man has been convicted for fatally shooting his father. Joseph Sampognaro, Jr shot his father multiple times in the hand, arm and head after an argument at a Laureles Grade residence. Sampognaro, Jr. is facing up to 53 years and 8 months to life in prison when he is sentenced on May 25th.
