A mistrial has been declared for a man who was accused of stomping a parrot to death. The jury could not reach a verdict in the case against 32-year old david jonathan miles. He was arrested last October, after a boulder creek resident reported that miles stomped the resident’s parrot to death. (Miles had reportedly been living at the house at the time.) Miles remains in custody, he is set to return to court on february 17th, when a new trial date could be set.
