Caltrans is announcing an overnight project on Highway 1 in Santa Cruz on Saturday. The one-day traffic light replacement project will take place on northbound Mission Street at Chestnut Street. Roadwork will start at 3:30 a.m until 11:30 am. Detour signs will be in place. This roadwork is necessary to replace the damaged traffic light and maintain the safety of all travelers.
