Authorities in Santa Cruz are investigating a lead relating to the disappearance of a 73-year-old Live Oak man. William Donald Moritz suffers from a disease which impairs his memory, and he went missing from his home on july 20th. Santa Cruz County sheriff’s investigators asked for the public’s help in locating Moritz last friday, however they now believe he may have taken a bus north, to the town of Weed. Sheriff’s deputies have alerted authorities in Shasta County to be on the lookout for Moritz. William Donald Moritz is described as 6-foot-3, balding with a grey pony-tail, and a 5-inch white beard.
