A video chat between inmates at the Monterey county jail and a volunteer organization aimed to stamp out gangs in Salinas causes controversy.
The salinas police officers association wants the city to drop the local non-profit “milpa” after the video reveals one of the members of MILPA flashing gang signs and celebrating gang culture.
