With the Monterey Peninsula home to a lot of military housing, a bill is being introduced today that seeks to improve the oversight of privatized military housing provided by the Department Of Defense. The Better Military Housing Act would mandate enhanced health and safety. Mold and lead, are commonly found safety issues in military housing.
If signed into law, the new rules would impact all military families in (and entering into) private military housing.
