A truck driver, who was caught on video driving erratically on the shoulder of Highway 101 in the Morgan Hill area, has been arrested. He faces charges of driving under the influence. A C.H.P. spokesman said it’s not only illegal to drive on the shoulder or in the median, it’s dangerous because the surface is often uneven, and dirt and rocks can be kicked up and hit other vehicles.
