Police in Morgan Hill say a San Jose man was arrested on suspicion of child molestation. 47-year old Wallace Carmalt was taken into custody after a search warrant was served on July 20th at his San Jose apartment for sexually abusing a then 8-year old victim for 5 years while she lived in Morgan Hill. Carmalt was booked into Santa Clara County jail on suspicion of 7 counts of child molestation and 1 count of child pornography.
