a parolee was arrested at a motel in santa cruz saturday night after police found methamphetamine and stolen property in his room. 24 year-old benjamin jaime dess was found with 5 grams of methamphetamine, vicodin, stolen items and about 25-hundred dollars in cash when officers contacted him at the motel. he was arrested along with 19 year-old victoria nicklin, who had a misdemeanor warrant for her arrest. both were booked into santa cruz county jail.
