Memorial For ‘Mama Desi’ 11/05/19A 08:28 S.S.

A  memorial  is  planned  for  this  afternoon,  in  honor  of  “Mama  Desi”  (the  local  activist  who  died  after  a  tree  fell  on  her).       Today’s  event  is  slated  to  begin  at  4  p.m.  at  Santa Cruz  City  Hall.      That’s  located  at  809  Center  Street.
