A time and location has been set, for a public meeting, to discuss recent escapes from the monterey county youth detention facility. The community forum is scheduled to be held on October 26th, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Breadbox, in salinas. That’s located at 745 north sanborn road. Refreshments and child care will be available at the meeting. Officials will discuss 3-recent escapes from the circle drive facility, (during which a total of 9-juveniles escaped). 6 of them have been re-arrested. Meanwhile, the facility remains on lockdown, as 2-internal affairs investigations are conducted.
