Santa Clara County health officials have posted a notice outside the Gilroy Costco warning shoppers about a measles exposure. The posting says a person with the illness visited the store on Sunday, January 18th, between 4 and 6 p.m. The individual is one of two confirmed cases of measles in the county. Anyone who was at the store around that time is urged to check their vaccination status for measles and watch for symptoms up until February 8th. Over 65 cases of the highly contagious illness have been confirmed in the state. Most have been linked to an outbreak at California Disney Parks.
