MCo Supe – MCo Mayors 11-04-20 10:08 S.S.

In the race for the District 4 Supervisor for Monterey County, Wendy Askew appears to have beaten Steve McShane…..with 53 percent of the vote.

There were 9 Mayoral races in Monterey county.  Dave Potter appears to have won the race to  serve Carmel-By-The-Sea by garnering 73 percent of the vote, while in Del Rey Oaks Alison Kerr got 74 percent of the vote.  In Gonzales Jose L Rios picked up 54 percent of the vote and in Monterey Clyde Roberson handily beat out Timothy Barrett with 61 percent of the vote.  In Pacific Grove Bill Peake ran for Mayor un-opposed, as did Mary Ann Carbone in Sand City,  while 5 people ran for Mayor of Salinas after 8-year Mayor Joe Guntner passed away in June.  Kimbley Craig appears to have won that race with 39 percent.  In Seaside, Ian Oglesby appears to have won the 3-person Mayoral race, while in Soledad Anna M Velazquez was the front-runner with 54 percent of the vote.
