2 Monterey County High School students were arrested yesterday after they were seen passing a bullet around campus. The 16-year old students, one from Marina and the other from Prunedale, were heard making comments about firearms, pipe bombs along with threatening to harm the school. A search of the boy’s homes led to the seizure of a homemade explosive device, which police say was capable of causing serious damage. The students were arrested around 1 p.m. and booked into Monterey County Juvenile Hall on suspicion of making terroristic threats, conspiracy, and possession of ammunition.
