Monterey County fire crews responded to a report of a water leak and flooding coming from a store inside the Carmelo Rancho Shopping Center over the weekend. Firefighters discovered a large amount of water at the SaveMart at 2 p.m. on Saturday and removed water for nearly an hour and a half. No injuries were reported, and the source of the leak is still being investigated.
