The Monterey County Board Of Supervisors has approved regulations for a 5-Year Outdoor Cannabis Growing Pilot Program. So-called “heritage growers” in Big Sur, the Carmel Valley and Cachagua areas, and who have previously legally cultivated marijuana outdoors, will be allowed to do so again….for the purposes of this test program. The new program would hopefully help out those growers who had to stop their outdoor operations when the county decided all commercial grows had to be done inside. County supervisors hope to have the new program in place before the 2020 Growing Season.
