The new Monterey County Jail expansion is still on-schedule to be finished by the end of August 2019….including 16 A.D.A.-compliant cells. The new jail offices will have conference halls, areas where families and inmates can video chat, and attorney-client rooms. Every unit will have a recreational yard attached.
