The Monterey county coroner’s office reported that an inmate at Monterey county jail hung himself in his cell this morning, (using a t-shirt). 25-year-old Salinas resident Daniel james lariviere was found dead of suffocation at 3:05 a.m. the deputy who found him attempted c-p-r, but was unsuccessful.
