Organizers with a Monterey County Community holiday dinner say they still need more donations and food for needy families. The 25th Annual Free Christmas Dinner, to be held at the Monterey County Fairgrounds, is expected to feed about 1,800 people this year. A co-organizer said yesterday that 20 more turkeys and 40 hams are still needed for the Christmas Day Dinner. People can still donate food at the fairgrounds. Volunteers to serve the holiday meal tomorrow, are also still needed.
