No reports of serious damage or injuries were received after multiple earthquakes rattled through Monterey County yesterday. The U.S.G.S. reports that a 4.5 quake struck at 12:51 a.m. near San Juan Bautista. A number of after shocks were felt in the area throughout the afternoon ranging from 1.2 to 3.4 in magnitude. 2 more quakes struck the area in the evening, a 3.7 at 7:54 p.m. followed by a 3.9 at 8 p.m. The shaking was reported over a 90-mile radius, as far north as San Francisco and as far south as Paso Robles.
