Monterey County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 2-people on Saturday morning in Greenfield, for possession of drugs and possession of a firearm. 19-year-old Greenfield resident Jairo Martinez and a 17-year-old were taken into custody after deputies pulled over the car they were in, and allegedly found a .357 magnum (revolver)and methamphetamine inside. Martinez was booked into Monterey County Jail, and the 17-year-old male was booked into juvenile hall. The driver of the car was released.
