Monterey County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a 22-year-old man on Friday night for weapons and drug violations. Castroville resident Christian Guzman was taken into custody at 9:30 p.m. near Castroville boulevard and highway-156. Deputies say he had a loaded, sawed-off shotgun in his vehicle, along with methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He was booked into Monterey county jail.
