The Monterey County Planning Commission has created draft ordinances for outdoor commercial cannabis cultivation. The ordinances cover coastal and non-coastal properties in and near Big Sur, Carmel Valley, and Cachagua. Monterey County Supervisors are expected to use those drafts to help create a pilot program, that would establish permit requirements and regulations for those areas.
