(08:25) Monterey – A public meeting was held last night to discuss road improvements on Highway 68. City Officials presented three different options to improve safety on the highway. The first includes installing roundabouts where the signals are, the second is widening three sections of the roadway, and then the last would be installing an adaptive signal system where signals talk to each other to improve the flow of traffic. The Transportation Agency of Monterey County is encouraging the public to voice their opinions by visiting: www.sr68sceniccorridorstudy.com. A final plan will be made by August 23rd.
