(07:40) Salinas – A Salinas man was convicted of first-degree murder yesterday. 46 year-old Alexander Winn is accused of stabbing 48 year-old David Derrington, of Watsonville, on February 21, 2016. The Monterey County District Attorneys Office reported that Derrington evicted Winn and Derrington’s former wife, Traci Derrington-Winn, from his former home. During the eviction Winn stabbed Derrington to death. Winn will be sentenced on July 6 and faces 31 years to life in prison.
