(10:47) SALINAS– A Salinas Subway Restaurant was robbed at gunpoint Saturday. Authorities say that shortly after 8:30 p.m. a white male entered the business on the 1500 block of North Main Street and ordered a sandwich. Upon checkout the suspect pulled up his sweatshirt displaying a handgun and demanded money. The robber then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect is believed responsible for multiple armed robberies in recent months. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Salinas police.
