(12:10) PRUNEDALE– Highway 101 North of Salinas was closed for hours on Friday following an asphalt spill. An Official CHP spokesperson says a semi truck pulling two trailers of asphalt began aggressive braking when the driver encountered freeway congestion causing the rear trailer to overturn spilling its contents. The roadway was reopened at around 1 p.m.
