(8:05) MONTEREY- A Monterey Man Has been arrested in connection with a shooting that took place on Friday. Shortly after 3 a.m., patrol units responded to reports of gunfire at a housing complex on Montsalas Drive. At the scene officers found an SUV with slashed tires and damage from several shotgun blasts. An investigation led to the arrest of 32 year old Brendan Powers. Powers was booked into Monterey County Jail in lieu 0f 100,000 dollars bail.
