(19:00) SANTA CRUZ – Santa Cruz County residents are being warned of recent coyote attacks. Officials say that in recent weeks pets have been attacked or gone missing in and around the city of Santa Cruz. Several sightings have been reported in the neighborhoods around UCSC and the Santa Cruz Harbor. A dog survived an attack by a coyote earlier this month on Carbonera Drive. Residents are advised to keep cats and small dogs inside at night, and to bring in any food that may attract coyotes. (P.M.D.)
