(09:13) GREENFIELD – Greenfield city officials have approved a measure to promote water conservation. Beginning in June, a surcharge will be added to monthly water bills. Customers will pay on average an extra $22 per month. The funds gathered from the surcharge will be used towards water conservation programs. Motels, churches, as well as industrial and commercial centers will be exempted from paying the fee. (S.G.)
