(18:26) MONTEREY BAY AREA – More than 900 pounds of trash was collected yesterday by volunteers working with save our shores. The beach clean-ups were done at 6 beaches around the Monterey Bay where people seem to leave the most trash behind on the memorial day weekend. Some of those beaches were Panther, Capitola, Seacliff State and Cowell/Main. Save Our Shores is a leader in ocean awareness, advocacy, and action around the Central Coast.
