(22:48) SOQUEL – Officials with the Soquel Creek Water District have expressed interest in the DeepWater Desal project in Moss Landing. Although the project is still in the environmental review process, district officials say they could be looking at purchasing about 1,500 acre-feet of water annually from that source. They also say they are in discussions with the Santa Cruz Water Department about possible ‘winter surface-water sharing’. (S.S.)
