(15:50) WATSONVILLE – A man suffered non-life-threatening injuries when he was shot this afternoon in Watsonville. The victim’s friends drove him to the hospital after the 1 p-m shooting on the 300 block of Rodriguez Street. Witnesses said they heard 5 shots, and saw 4 men (wearing blue bandanas) flee the scene in a white Jeep Cherokee. Although Project Rope was initiated, (with all Highway 1 on and off-ramps in Watsonville staked out….the gunman was not found.
