(05:40) U.C.S.C. – A public bronze pour will take place this afternoon at U.C. –Santa Cruz. It’s part of the university’s Art 188 – Foundry Course. 500 pounds of bronze will be heated to about 21-hundred degrees Fahrenheit, and then poured into ceramic molds (using the “lost-wax” casting process). The 1st pour will take place at approximately 2:30 p-m, and the 2nd should be around 3:45 p-m.
