(16:29) SALINAS AREA – Firefighters battled a wildfire near Salinas this afternoon. The blaze broke out around 1:30 p-m along Old Stage Road and Encinal Road. The 50-acre fire was contained by 4:15 p-m. One person suffered smoke inhalation and minor burns.
