(06:41) MONTEREY – City officials are using data from a recent vulnerability study of the Monterey coastline, To develop the City Of Monterey’s new Local Coastal Plan. They say that the combination of natural coastal erosion and sea level rising potentially puts 25-thousand feet of roadways, 30 structures and nearly 200 parcels of land at risk. Part of what city officials need to decide is if they want to try and stop the erosion, or let nature take its course.
