(10:38) SALINAS- Salinas city leads held a conference addressing violence last week. The meeting was called for after four homicides made last week the most violent of the year. Salinas city Council member Tony Barreras opened the conference, and said that ending violence starts at home, he went on to say parents need to be disciplinarians to hold their children accountable. As of Friday Salinas has had 15 homicides since January.
