(07:47) SALINAS – The Salinas Fire Department has earned a grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. FEMA has awarded the agency $98,000 to help them replace their Thermal Imaging Cameras or TICs. The devices help firefighters locate victims in smoke-filled environments or water. The department has until March 2017 to purchase the upgraded TICs and deploy them. (S.G.)
