Officials with the cities of Carmel and Pacific Grove are considering a uniform policy to enforce citations for people who are not wearing facial coverings out in public. Although some people support the potential ordinance (for health and safety reasons) others say that people who are exercising should be exempt. City officials expect to further discuss this ordinance in Virtual Meetings this week.
In recent days, masks have become mandatory in ALL public places, inside and out in some of the world’s cities and countries. Some of those are Madrid, Hong Kong, Greece, and Portugal’s Madeira Islands.
