A Live Oak Elementary School kindergartener received a special surprise on Monday when his father returned home from Afghanistan. 26-year-old Marine Corps Staff Sergeant Juan Estrada entered his son Michael’s classroom while the children were singing and dancing to a flag song. When the little boy saw his father, a big smile spread across his face. Sergeant Estrada has served two tours in Afghanistan and one in Iraq as a combat engineer. He and his wife Elisa have two young daughters as well. The family is preparing to move to Camp Pendleton where Estrada will work with a Wounded Warriors Battalion.
